Hey so all of a sudden on top of the chime, I hear a buzzer when I'm turning the key.....is that normal? What the hell is that? As far as I could tell, there was never any buzzing in the 3 years I've had the car....why would it start working now? I feel retarded asking this..but I could not find the source of the buzz because it only stays on when the key is in the firing position.
For some strange reason, I think it may be wiper related or fuse related...but I figure'd i'd ask here. I have the whole transmission issue which is more important..but it coudlnt hurt to know whats going on with this. _________________ 1988 Chevy Caprice Classic Owner.

you know..you've been helpful as hell plenty of times so I'll have to forgive you for that.
Now here is what happened today. WHen I put the car in the start position with the MC solenoid clicking, i hear the buzz under the dash. Now that I drove a few miles it doenst come back. It seems to only happen in the morning. Wtf? Btw I had some guy adjust my TV cable free of charge. Car seems to shift fine now..but I might have to have you come by and look at it lol. Booze and food on me. _________________ 1988 Chevy Caprice Classic Owner.

I think the buzzer was a warning for my choke light. Is that possible? I cleaned the connector on the choke thermostat and the buzz went away. Could be dumb luck... _________________ 1988 Chevy Caprice Classic Owner.
