Driving the wheels off the '95 Caprice wagon now. But occasionally drive my '99 Bonneville. The Caprice is more fun...

I'm waiting for the new Pontiac G8 GXP. Then I can have the Bonne's handling with the Caprice's speed.

Then the Bonneville will become backup only... at least until I push it into the garage and convert it to a proper V8, RWD coupe that GM should have built in the first place.

You couldn't keep that electra for just a few more weeks? I totally would have traded you. How much did you get for the electra? Should have swapped that 455 into the Caprice/sold the electra to me.

I got $3G's from a guy in Ohio. He sends me pics from time to time. He's having the car restored by a shop. From the pics this is one of those shops that buy Bondo by the truckload. I think they added about 200 pounds to the car just in body work. All the car needed was some attention to the right side door above the molding where someone hit it, a dent the size of a CD in the right front fender and the normal rot behind the rear wheels on both quarters. He replaced the vinyl top and the car is stripped and in primer. You'd think they would at least remove the hub caps during the body work. I'd bet this guy isn't paying more than $2K to the Mexican Army to get this car done. I'd bet a year's salary that the rot is going to bubble the paint on the quarters within 6 months. If I knew I was going to toss the Cavalier sooner I would have kept her.
