On a thick bundle of wires going from the dead pedal fuse block around the steering column and wherever else...this clip holds it in place. Is there a non-destructive way to remove it?
It feels like prying it off will destroy it. That wouldn't be the end of the world, a nut should replace it easily, but I'd like to do it right. _________________ 1980 Buick LeSabre Limited 4.1 V6 TH350, 38,000 miles, family heirloom. Plan: Convert to manual transmission. |

HC, I always consider that I've done the automotive world a favor by destroying those fasteners while removing them. Like you mention, a real nut is the perfect replacement. _________________ Rob

Those are designed for a single use only. The only way to remove them is to destroy them. _________________ Me hid big dings wid da hamma.
